TRAP
Not the usual one...

You feel lost when you are stuck for a long time.
A trap is what keeps you stuck from achieving your goals.
A trap has no form or endless form.
A trap kills your potential.
Your happiness, your joy, and your ability.
A trap can look sexy and beautiful, smell nice, make you comfortable, and might give you the best sleep.
A trap is usually your comfort zone.
It looks exactly like your deepest desires.
Like a mouse trap, it smells nice, it attracts the mouse, and bam!! The mouse is now trapped. And if the mouse doesn't have the strength, it can get killed or starve to death.
But we are not mice (Thank God).
You have to learn to solve the trap if you are in it now.
And there are chances that you are in a trap.
The things you most love could be one.
Your family, your friends, and your partner could be one.
Does it mean you should not trust anyone?
No. That's not what I am saying.
I told you: A trap stops you from going ahead.
It is manipulative. It attracts you by showing your deep desires or insecurities.
It keeps you attached because it feeds on you.
It is the nature of the trap.
Every trap is alive.
A human can be a trap. A society can be a trap. A city, a system, or a routine can be a trap.
Mindless scrolling is a trap.
A trap can be your ex, which keeps you attached to them so you don't go and find or get the best you can.
Your job can be your trap, which gives you wages using your financial vulnerability to make you forget your actual ‘duty’ or dreams.
A trap can be your family, who doesn't let you go out to explore in the name of love and security.
A trap can be your friends who don't encourage or pull you down every time you try something new.
A trap can be your mind, your beliefs, or your conditioning, which keep you stuck in the same place.
A trap can be your habits or your past.
Seeking closure is a trap.
A trap is not the same for everyone; some can get through it, break it, and go over it, but some can get stuck, and if not solved ASAP, the person can die.
Sometimes, solving a trap means hurting yourself.
Because it is stuck in your flesh, and due to staying there for a long time, it has penetrated deep into the bones.
It will hurt to get out of that.
But you have to bear that pain in order to move, to complete your adventure, and to continue your journey.
Imagine you are a character looking for a treasure, and you have overcome monsters, mountains, wild plants, and animals. You slept in a tent, had river water, didn’t have a proper shower, and haven’t eaten a full meal in days.
You are tired of fighting your inner b*tch. You are still going on... And one day you saw a house with all the things you wanted (not what you needed at the moment to get your treasure).
There was a beautiful lady who welcomed you.
Offer you a stay as long as you want, including a delicious meal, jacuzzi, hot steam, wifi, Netflix, and everything one wants for comfort. Especially at that moment.
Now, you have spent days and months, and you are delaying your treasure hunting because you are comfortable.
But this is a trap.
Comfort is a trap.
You stayed there for a long time because your goal was not big, important, or meaningful enough.
The more you stay in a trap, the more you forget yourself.
A trap can make you forget your dreams, reality, and goals.
It's an addiction your inner b*tch wants. It makes you a zombie. You will just be alive, but you won't make any sense.
A trap will make you think about the problems that you don't have or that have little to no importance.
It makes an irrelevant or imaginary problem a real problem.
Sometimes a trap has such a wide aura that it attracts you towards it, but if you are strong and smart enough to identify or break that trap, you move on.
It keeps calling you by your weaknesses.
”You need me.”
“You are safe here.”
“Don't leave me.”
“I love you.”
“If you step outside this cage, the tiger will eat you; it's safe here in this cage.”.
It all sounds good, but the time, thing, and person are not right for you.
If you don't take action soon, you will feel obligated to listen to these calls.
If you react to a particular situation every time, and it keeps you stuck. It is a trap.
A trap will make you feel “safe” and give you a false sense of security.
How is this trap different from the bear trap? This trap hurts you slowly; it hurts you at the neurons', deep cellular level, and it makes hurt a habit for you.
It eats you slowly. Like the termites.
A trap will play with your inner desires.
If you want someone to love you desperately, someone will become a trap for you. Their words and actions won't match. They will hurt you until you identify it as a trap and get out of it.
A trap finds your vulnerability.
The situation worsens if it is not identified and solved.
A trap will give you every possible question and every possible situation to keep questioning yourself, but here's another trap: the answer will be one: “This is right. Keep doing it.”
One thing to keep in mind while breaking a trap is that it will keep calling you again and again, or it will be in your mind for a long time.
But do not look back. I repeat, do NOT look back.
After leaving a trap, it will keep haunting you and give you nightmares.
Sometimes you will think you miss it, but that’s just a memory, and don’t trust your memory.
How to identify a trap?
Trust your instincts.
This is the best advice I can give you. Don’t ignore your gut; listen to your intuition. Trust it, it takes practice. You cannot avoid traps all the time, and it is not your goal to always look for a trap and then avoid it; you don’t need to.
Just focus on goals, and if you fall into one,
Here’s how to get out of it.
Sit, connect, and question yourself.
Your routine, your surroundings.
Your friends, your reactions to the situations.
Is it what you want? Is it something you feel trapped in?
If the answer is not what you want, then change it.
Change the way you respond.
You don’t need a plan; you can just change it the moment you decide. You don’t have to justify yourself.
It will take time.
You have to fight it. Stick to your plan.
Leaving a trap will be the most uncomfortable feeling in the world.

It literally feels like this. But the more you know yourself, the easier it becomes.
The distractions will disappear automatically when you are focused.
Sit with yourself.
If you know what you want, no trap in this world can catch you.
The gap between you and your ideal self is knowing, learning, making mistakes, and taking action.
The best part, remember?
If you do not agree with me.
