Into The Unknown
Step into it...

I wake up at 10 am, stare at the fan for a minute and the mirror for a few minutes, and think, “What am I going to do today?” and the answer is, “Let’s decide afterward.”
I get fresh, put some clothes on, have breakfast, and it’s 2 pm.
Then, I sit down to decide what today’s task is, and as I think about it, I use my phone to get “self-improvement” ideas to work on.
A few moments later, I decide to sit quietly because I’m feeling heavy, and I see the time: it’s 5 pm.
I feel heavy, and then I sit quietly.
After a long time, it’s 5:10 pm.
Again, I check my phone for “important messages” (which I haven’t gotten in months).
And then again, a drill on social media—for ideas.
Now, I saw a horror movie clip (man, that was awesome).
I turned off the lights, put my headphones on, closed the door, switched the tab (not incognito), and started watching the horror movie. BTW, I LOVE horror movies🖤(DM for suggestions)
and it’s 10 pm now, and I am going to have fried rice and then, by 12 to bed and have a negative self-talk session for about 20–30 minutes.
~ This was me last year.
Not cool, right?
Oh, wait a minute…Something’s missing.
I recently rejected a lot of job offers, paid my gym subscription about 3 months ago, and it’s been 2.5 months since I have been there. My chocolate peanut butter is getting near expiration, and I am following a strict schedule to become successful (mentioned above).
The Omi said to me (inner om): What a bad day! and a waste of potential.
After a lot of sessions with myself (I will talk about this in the upcoming newsletters), I concluded.
If I don’t know where I am going, what am I doing, where I want to go, and how?
I will do something.
I don’t know what, but something.
Then again, after hours of introspection, I came up with this…
The future is unknown.
We can have a vision.
We can be optimistic.
We can plan,
we can try to “predict”
We can have belief and be confident.
But the future is unknown.
Everything you are thinking about the future is a theory. Even if you have planned the steps it is still a theory.
And you cannot know what will happen until you do it.
let’s you are planning to have a pizza tonight and you leave your home and suddenly an old man comes to you and gives you a big break in movies. (you wish)
or a police stop by and take you to jail for a false accusation.
Most people get stuck in the theory (like me) and say “I know this is boring,”
“I know I am not gonna get selected or vice versa, “
“I know how this will go.”
But I was wrong the whole time.
If you don’t execute you won’t know.
And now this is one rule I live by now:
FUTURE IS UNKNOWN.
OM!!! come to the point!!
So here it is…

Don’t get into this trap.
If you feel stuck, confused, or lost then maybe you are in a trap, lack courage, or have no idea.
Set temporary goals.
Yes MF. This is the ONLY solution you have.
Getting a big break is not in your hands. It’s the “luck” or a probability or whatever - which you can’t depend upon.
Look what you have in your hand right now. (not your 🍆 /🍑)
The equipment, books, resources, skills, etc.
Don’t stress about your career now.
You don’t need a career right now.
You need a momentum.
To work,
A reason to get out of bed,
or at least to use a few hours effectively.
Think about your interests, hobbies, and vision.
You don’t have to look a decade ahead but just 3-6-12 months.
Practicing skills and hobbies will create momentum.
This will create a winner effect.
You will feel confident because you will improve and you can see your progress.
You will have the evidence to feel confident, to feel good about yourself.
Make your life simple by focusing on these four things:
The things you are interested in?
A skill to master.
The career or studies. (optional for now)
Activity: for physical health (mandatory)
If you are interested in self-improvement, share your journey, regardless of the medium. It could be video or writing.
Skill will pay your bills. (We will talk more about finding and skill learning later)
If you want to focus on your career, go to college, get a course, or do an internship.
An activity a day is mandatory. This keeps you energetic and positive. (could be gym, running, sports, etc.)
Practice your interests as a hobby, not to make a career out of them but to develop them.
Dedicate only 1-3 hours daily.
A line to remember:
Nothing will interest you 100%.
Some things will interest you 47%, 63%, or even 90%, etc.
So do it accordingly.
Do it enough times and gather the data. (what you like and don’t like)
And move on to the next thing. (Stick to one thing for at least a month.)
Things will take time, but it is worth it.
You will never be 100% sure that you want to do this.
You won't get clarity suddenly.
You have to keep asking yourself those four questions daily.

Choosing a goal means throwing an anchor in the unknown.
~ Dan Koe
Choosing a goal means throwing an anchor in the unknown.
At last, you must have a vision.
what do you become (if not) then who do you wanna become?
How do you want to look?
What type of friends do you want?
ETC.
I believe everyone knows what they want now (if not now then in the future or vice versa).
Either they:
Don’t listen to themselves,
They don’t believe in themselves or
They don’t have the courage to act.
P.S. Share this with someone who is stuck in the washing machine like a step-sibling who can get out of it but still need help.
